This morning I was sent an email asking about whether or not their DS Challenge entry made it through. Turns out it didn't and I had made a really dumb mistake when making the entry form. Essentially, none of the information was saved, so on my end it looking like absolutely no one was entering.
So, for those of you who had entered, you'll have to enter again. For those of you who have yet to enter, I am extending the deadline to August 14th.
Again, for those of you who may not have even heard about it, or maybe forgot, or maybe even gave up on trying to enter, here is what this Challenge is all about:
As we all know, Blender is a program for 3D models, scenes, animations, and so on. We also know that Blender is capable of much more that just that. For this challenge, rather than creating a 3D scene, we are to try something that most Blender users probably have never bothered trying or maybe even thought about - flattening everything out. Basically, your restriction for this challenge is that every object in your scene must be 2D.
Prize: Introducing Character Animation with Blender, 2nd Edition
Deadline: August 14th, 2011 11:59:59 PM EDT
